New Apple iPad 3 Review

Apple Inc. has always been able to keep everyone full of expectation and deliver beyond that expectation that is just what everyone expected when the company announced the release of the latest product to be released from their production line. The third generation of the Apple iPad is what everybody has been talking about and the long awaited product is finally here. Apple fans are hoping that this as ground breaking as the iPad 2 was when it was first released. There has been controversy about what to expect from the new iPad for the past couple of weeks but Apple has made it clear what to expect with the new iPad on their official website. It might be a little disappointing that not very much has been done to improve on the Ipad 2 and both generations are very similar. The new iPad has the same look and design; in fact you will not be wrong to say that all they did was upgrade the display and the camera. This might not be a problem if you are already satisfied with the original iPad specs but then again are these little upgrades worth upgrading your device to the third generation iPad.

Let us take a look at what exactly is new in the Apple iPad 3 Continue reading ‘New iPad 3 Review – Retina Display baby!’ »

iphone 4s iPhone 4S Review Siri, Siri

IPHONE 4S REVIEW

The iPhone 4S has Siri on it, and phones will never be the same. Each time a new phone comes out they just seem to get easier to use and offer more services. Well this time is no different as the iPhone 4S is everything you need in a phone and more. There are so many fabulous features on this phone, yet the most exciting one is the Siri feature on the phone. Literally all you have to do is to talk to your phone and it will do the rest for you. It’s absolutely amazing, it will also talk to you as well and it’s like it can read your mind.

The iPhone 4S is so easy to use, you will be using it and not even realize. This is the greatest idea of a hands free phone. Using your iPhone 4S is just like you are talking to a friend. It’s almost like all you have to do is to think out loud and the phone will do the work for you. You can say, “Where is the closest place to get flowers.”, and it will do the work for you. You can use it for phoning, reminders making appointments and much more. This phone will amaze you every time that you use it. It will be like your phone knows what you mean. You can say “I feel like ice cream”, and the phone will say “there are 20 ice cream places around you”. That’s right this iPhone 4S will talk back to you as well. kindle fire app games Amazon Kindle Fire Review iPad killer?

If you are like me and love to read then a Kindle Fire is for you. In addition to reading you can also listen to music or watch a movie.  Released a little over 3 months ago, it has become so very popular. It is quite similar to the Kindle eBook reader from Amazon. Yet the Kindle Fire is a tablet computer version of it and is even more compact and user friendly. The days are definitely gone when you had to carry all those cumbersome books around with you when wanted to read. Paying outrageous prices for books at the store that you would read in a day or two. If you were like me, I tried to bypass these costs by going to the local library. I could then never find the most recent popular books that I wanted. It got to the point where I wasn’t enjoying reading anymore, yet this Kindle Fire has brought back that excitement of reading to me once again. trans Amazon Kindle Fire Review iPad killer? verizon lte Expect all future phones and tablets will be LTE equipped on Verizon

Verizon is going all in on LTE and there is nothing you can do to stop it. They are investing tons of money and buying spectrum like it is going out of business. The biggest addition is the requirement that all future devices need to be LTE equipped. Besides push–to-talk and budget devices all phones, tablets, and smartphones need to be rocking sweet sweet LTE. Verizon is encouraging not just iPhones’ and Androids’, but also Blackberry and Windows Phone 7 to jump on the 700 MHz train.

ysamkarz3588695489609812763 People ditching point and shoot cameras for the convenience of their smartphones

This isn’t surprising news to anyone with a smartphone. According to the NPD more than a quarter of photos and videos are being taken by smartphones. The increase of smartphones in the hands of consumers  is obviously to blame but also the advancement of photo technologies in the smartphones have brought them on par with point and shoots. For myself I never take many pictures but since rocking my first Nexus One I’ve been a little more of a shutterbug. I’m expecting this trend to continue as Americans ditch their cameras for the ease of their cellphone.

p IntelAtom 550x360 Intel creates mobile unit to help penetrate smartphones and tablets

The battle between Arm and Intel is heating up with Chipzilla forming a new mobile unit to help penetrate the burgeoning ultra-portable segment.  For years Intel has talked big and put up even bigger money to get into the ARM dominated smartphone and tablet segments, but have failed so far. This new initiative is a move in a right direction but it may be a year or two before we start seeing the fruits of labor. ARM knows this and I expect the spunky British semi-conductor company ready to battle against anything Intel throws at them.

KO slate main lg holiday. V163478229 One million Kindles being sold a week

Amazon usually doesn’t release sales numbers to their popular Kindle line, but there is a first for everything. Amazon has announced that they have sold one million Kindles’ a week for the past 3 weeks. Even though this is a very generic press release it does prove that the Kindle is the second most popular e-reader/tablet brand behind the iPad. So what are you waiting for? All this Kindle Fires aren’t going to sell themselves.

iPad2 Mocukup 4 American Airline pilots to rock iPads in the cockpit

The FAA has tested iPads in the cockpits of select planes for a year and it now looks like it’ll be a way of life for the industry. American Airlines has won approval from the FAA to have iPads be an a part of the pilots’ flying experience. What the iPad does, or rather replaces is the pilots’ flight book which has navigational maps and in-Detroit information about the plane they are flying. The 1.33 lb iPad will be replacing 35 lbs of paper and will translate into $1.2 million in savings for the industry. I like this move, it is smart and economical!

arm logo 728 751 550x412 ARMs biggest obstacle to netbook domination is compatibility

ARM in the last 5 years has gone from a little British semi-conductor company that no one, besides techies, knew about to a little British semi-conductor company that a lot more people know about (with a bigger market cap to boot). ARM’s chips power almost every smartphone in the world and the majority of tablets. Now they have their eyes a little higher and the thinking is that ARM will begin to dominate the netbook segment.
